Apply for a term deposit through Web Banker

As a CUA member you can request your funds be invested in a term deposit through Web Banker.

How?

Once you have logged onto Web Banker select the 'Other Services' tab, then the 'Term Deposit' button.

Enter the CUA member number(s) of the individual(s) to be named on the term deposit certificate.
Enter the amount you wish to invest. ($1,000 minimum.)
Select the term for the deposit. This can be from one month up to three years.
Select the CUA account where the funds for the term deposit are to be debited from.
Select how often you wish the interest to be paid. Interest is fixed for the term of the deposit and is paid at maturity or monthly. Interest on a two or three year term deposit will be paid annually or monthly. If you select interest to be paid monthly, the rate will be reduced except for retirees who are eligible for monthly interest at the advertised rate on term deposits lodged for 12 months or more.
Indicate whether you are a retiree or not.
Press continue to submit your term deposit request.

Once the term deposit is opened, a certificate will be issued and mailed to you. Please read the terms and conditions on the back of the certificate.
