Brisbane residents who are looking at retiring will have the opportunity to learn about low-risk superannuation investment options at various free seminars hosted by CUA on 13, 20 and 23 August.

CUA Financial Planner James Kelsey said the seminars would be valuable to anyone aged 50 and over who was interested in finding out more about the various superannuation options and the risks associated.

“Many over 50s are trying to save as much as possible for their retirement but are uncertain about where to invest their savings,” he said.

“At these free seminars we will teach people about the best low-risk investment options they have with regards to their super including cash, term deposits, managed funds, property and shares.

“Superannuation is the best way for people to generate an income for their retirement and we are aiming to educate people on how to plan for this exciting part of life’s journey.

“With the share market’s current instability it is especially important to know where to invest your super finances and with professional advice people can make informed decisions about which investment option or options best suit them.

“It is all explained in simple terms, with real examples and great advice for people who attend.”
