How can I close an account I no longer need?
If you wish to close an account which you no longer require and transfer any balance to another of your CUA accounts you can:
- call us on 133 cua (133 282)
- send a secure email through Web Banker - please supply details of the account in the same name that you would like the balance and any interest credited to
- by writing to us - Transaction Services, PO Box 100, Brisbane, Qld, 4001
Accounts requiring more than one signature, and/or accounts with a card and/or cheque facility attached, can not be closed via phone or secure e-mail. If your account has these facilities please call us on 133 cua (133 282) for further instructions.
